The studio
2A Studio Architettura is a young studio founded by two professionals who are young in everything except experience. Between us we have almost thirty years each of design, building permits and construction sites, gained in the field within the Italian building industry.
We chose to start afresh together and build a different kind of studio: one that combines the craft built up over decades with the digital tools — laser surveying, 3D modelling, BIM — that make design more precise, faster and easier to control. People's know-how, enhanced by technology, not replaced by it.
We are based in Guastalla, in the province of Reggio Emilia, and work across Reggio Emilia, Modena, Parma, Mantua and the surrounding area, for private clients, contractors and other design practices.

Design & building permits
Architectural design and full management of building permits and regulatory compliance under Italian construction law — from new homes to the reuse of existing buildings.
Renovation & site supervision
We renovate homes and existing buildings starting from an accurate survey of the existing condition. We supervise the works from start to handover: coordinating contractors and controlling time, cost and quality.
Bespoke furniture
